This is a part-time opportunity to participate in design, develop and test a wearable near infrared spectroscopy system for functional brain imaging and optical tomography in human.
Time commitment: At least 10 hours per week (paid or eligible for course credit).
Minimum Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with analog circuit and PCB design
• Basic knowledge of flexible electronic design.
• Experience with debugging and testing electronic circuits
• Basic knowledge of optics preferably infrared
• Experience in MATLAB, and data acquisition and processing.
• Experience with FPGA programing is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
• In depth understanding of light transport in tissue.
• Experience with tissue optics modeling and simulations
• Exposure to optical spectroscopy of tissues.
