Hi everyone! My name is Jessica and I am a lab technician at Stanford University. I am currently staying in a sublet in graduate housing for the summer, but my lease is going to run out by the end of August. Therefore, I am looking for a long-term place to stay (about a year or two) starting in September.

So far, I have been striking out for the past month looking on SUpost for offers so I'm deciding to start looking at apartments around the area! I'm looking for a roommate that would like to go apartment-hunting with me for an affordable place. My budget is in between $1,000 and $2,000/month per person so anything within that range would work for me! I would prefer to have a female roommate, but I am also fine rooming with a couple as well. I am fine with small dogs and overnight guests, but please no smoking or drugs. Also no cats because I am allergic. Potential roommate has to be respectful of personal space and should be clean, friendly, and relatively quiet (I'm a pretty light sleeper and sensitive to noise). Also, long-term roommate preferred since many of these leases are a year long.

About me: During the week, I work all day and I like to come home at night, cook dinner, and watch Netflix and relax. On weekends I like to go out with friends or hang out around the house and watch movies and write stories. I'm nice, quiet, and I'm good at keeping common areas clean. I moved here about 2 months ago, so I would love to meet some new people as well! We don't need to be friends, but if we get along well I would love to hang out sometime and go to new places, too!
