Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies (SPCS) is seeking enthusiastic, motivated Student Assistants for our Science Circle, Math Circle, and Humanities Circle. Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies advances the education of academically talented, intellectually curious, pre-college students. We provide quarter-long academic courses for elementary, middle school and high school students who are passionate about academic enrichment in the fields of math, science, and humanities. Sessions are held weekly on the Stanford campus, and follow the Stanford academic calendar.
Student Assistants provide administrative and course support to instructors, including:
• Open and prepare the classroom
• Pick-up and return classroom supplies
• Take attendance and register students
• Attend and monitor sessions
• Provide assistance to the Course Instructor as requested
• Close the classroom was the session has concluded
We are seeking Student Assistants for the following positions for classes starting the week of September 25–29:
• Thursdays, 6:15 – 7:30 pm (Fiction Writing)
• Wednesdays, 6:15 – 8:00 pm (Creative Nonfiction) AND Thursdays, 6:15 – 8:00 pm (Poetry)
• Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
• Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 pm
• Thursdays, 5:15 – 8:10 pm
• Thursdays, 5:30 – 8:15 pm AND 6:10 – 7:50 pm
