Brief Social Skills Training for Boys with Developmental Disabilities @stanford.edu

Stanford University is looking for boys aged 8-18 with a developmental or intellectual disability to take part in a research study investigating behavioral training methods to improve duration of eye contact and social skills. Participation includes a visit to Stanford for 3-4 days, cognitive testing, two optional MRI scans, and social skills training with a behaviorist.

has a diagnosed genetic disorder other than Fragile X associated with an intellectual disability (e.g., Down Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome)
has neurological or sensory impairments not associated with social skills (e.g., head trauma, blindness)

has frequent and/or severe problem behaviors
