My wife and I are going away for 5 weeks and we would like to sublet our apartment at Escondido Village on the Stanford Campus.

The apartment is located on the top (8th) floor with a beautiful view and a dinning table on the balcony. It is fully furnished and located right next to El Camino Real (easy access to Trader Joe's, downtown Palo Alto, California Avenue, Mountain View).

1 bedroom (queen bed), 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 balcony.

WiFi is included in the rent (but registration required under your Stanford ID or you can use Stanford Visitor) and free laundry in the basement.

Available dates: move-in on December 3rd (after 8am), move-out on January 8th (before 2pm)

Total rent for 36 days: $2300 - to be paid in full in maximum 3 days after signing the contract (1 apartment key and 1 keycard will be provided upon receipt of the payment)

Deposit: $700 (will be returned in full at the end of the rental, if everything is okay and the apartment is clean) - to be paid upon signing the sublease contract

The apartment will only be subleased for the entire advertised period (not shorter or longer). If your plans don't coincide with December 3 - January 8, please don't contact me, or expect to pay the entire rent ($2300) even if you move in later and/or move out earlier.

Most of our belongings will remain in the apartment, but we will take as much as possible to the storage room (which will be unavailable to you) and leave the closet and a chest of drawers free for you, as well as space in the bathroom and in the kitchen.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an unofficial sublease, which means the contract will NOT be registered with Stanford Housing. This means you'll have to be very careful not to lose the key or lock yourself out of the apartment.
