I am subletting a room with a private bath in a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1200 sqft home. It will be available from April 1, 2018 until September 30, 2018 for $1,200 per month.

The open room includes a twin bed, a desk with office chair, a dresser and a closet. If you don’t want the bed, desk and chair in the room, they can be removed. The house has a washer and dryer and a kitchen that you can use anytime you need.

This home is perfect for a visiting researcher/fellow or someone who is looking for a job or a future permanent place in the bay area

The property has many fruit trees and backyard that you are allowed to grow your own vegetable! You can park your car on a driveway inside the house, which is located in East Palo Alto, a block from Ikea -- 15 minute drive or 20 minute bike to Stanford campus and less than 5 minutes drive to 101.

Your housemates will be one female alum from Stanford and a male alum from MIT. They are very friendly, considered and easy to get along. We are looking for someone similar, who will treat the property respectfully.

The $1,200 rent does not include utilities, which is usually about $50-$100/month. Or you can pay $1,250 per month includes all utilities -- water, garbage, electricity and WiFi. The refundable deposit before moving in is $1,250.

No smoking/drugs. No pets. No friend overnight stay.
