Hi there!

My name is Hangelina Tran. I graduated 2017 with a double major in Political Science and Spanish. I have previously studied and conducted research at Stanford as well UC Berkeley during the summers of my undergraduate years. I scored in the top 10% of the GRE for graduate school.

Currently, I am teaching English as a Fulbright ETA at a university in Guadalajara, Mexico. I will be pursuing a master in education at Columbia University in the fall. As a first-generation and low-income student, I am really grateful to have come this far and am working support myself while in school.

I can tutor in Spanish and English, SAT, and other school subjects for general K-12 as well as college students. In addition, I can also be your coach for studying, maximizing time, and test-taking + essay-writing strategies. Rates range from 25-50 dollars per hour-long session, depending on your needs.
