Job Description:
Thermo Fisher Scientific Toxicology Immunoassay Team at Fremont, CA is looking for a research assistant to work on a grant-funded project for identifying unknown metabolites of drugs. This is a part-time (4 hours per day or 20 hours per week) contract position, $25-$30 per hour. Successful candidate will work under supervision of senior scientists.

Technologies involved in the job contents will be:
Affinity chromatography purification of small compounds
HPLC
LC-MS/HRMS (Liquid chromatography-mass spectrum/ high resolution mass spectrum) analysis

Minimum Qualification:
Biology/Chemistry/Biochemistry major
Experience in an organic, biochemical or biological laboratory for at least 6 months is a must
Looking to start in May or June 2018 and is expected to work for at least 6 months
Experience in the involved technologies is a plus, but not required.
