Room available in gorgeous SF home for sublet July 1-December 31. We are open to either one six-month sublet or two shorter sublets (Summer & Fall). The house is a beautiful architect-designed shared 4BR/3BA home in Bernal Heights. Room has queen-sized bed, built-in wardrobe, large chest of drawers, and good-sized free-standing shelf unit. The second-floor room is light and very quiet, with a window opening onto the backyard space. Bathroom (with shower/bath) is shared with two other housemates.

The home is striking, with redwood walls, a professionally-stocked kitchen, a large living room with skylight and windows overlooking the backyard with Koi pond, and a large collection of interesting books. There is also a side deck, a dining room, and a garage with a washer and dryer. There is no storage available for this sublet, beyond the ample space for clothes, books, etc. in the bedroom. There is also a communal desk in the shared space which is available for (shared) use.

This home will be shared during this time by two women and a man in their thirties, two of whom are former Stanford graduate students. Household maintains a good relationship with the landlord, with whom we share the backyard. The house is located very close to access for Hwys 101 & 280, so it’s ideal for someone with a commute to the Peninsula.

Rent is $1650/month including utilities. The tenant of the room will definitely return Jan. 1, so there is no option to extend the sublet period.
