This posting is for a research assistant position in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The Sudheimer Lab conducts neuroimaging experiments that test how hormones influence the brain activity patterns of people experiencing symptoms of depression. Students will learn how to conducting and analyzing neuroimaging and behavioral experiments and how to administer clinical screening interviews. Students planning for applications to medical or graduate school will gain experience, be included in publications resulting from their work, and earn a letter of reccommendation. Successful internships have the potential to convert into paid part-time positions.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a research lab is desirable but not required. A working knowledge of Matlab, psychopy, eprime, and statistics is also preferable, but not required.
