The reason why the rent is so cheap is that you will have an empty room in a not so empty house. The house is a complete mess and the landlord is a hoarder, especially in books and electronics (he used to be Steve Job's best friend and was backstabbed in the Aston Kutcher movie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Kottke ).

The room is great however (Memory Foam Mattress, air purifier, quietness).
