I have a room for rent in our Mountain View 2BR/1BA apartment starting 1 September and I am looking for a female housemate to sub-lease for 2 months (1 Sept - 1 Nov), the dates can be flexible. The rent is 1200 including the utilities. The place is 2 blocks away from Caltrain station, so ideal to walk/bike to station if you want to commute to Stanford. It's also a 5-min walk to the lively Castro downtown with tons of restaurants and bars to choose from. Also conveniently located are Safeway, CVS and other local grocery stores.

The room can come furnished with a simple futon bed, a desk and a chair, closet, TV/book-stand and a 30-inch TV. The room receives plenty of natural sunlight in the day time and the house itself has a huge furnished common area with a beautiful patio that you can enjoy. You will have access to the kitchen and other common areas, like a swimming pool on the facility and washer-dryer options are available on the complex as well.
