We (a female and a male, an occupational therapist at Stanford Hospital and a scientist at SLAC) are are looking for a roommate for one bedroom (with shared bathroom) in our 3BR/2B house in the Allied Arts neighborhood in Menlo Park. The house is bright, spacious and comfortable. The room is available and rent starts on February 1st - it is a month to month lease, but we are looking for someone who wants to be there long-term. Amenities include a walk-in closet, an off-street parking spot, in-unit laundry, and storage space. The house has a private, enclosed patio with plenty of space that includes bikes, a grill, and a seating area. The common space includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook. The location is pretty ideal for commuting to the med school, on Partridge Ave (a couple blocks away from the El Camino Safeway). It is a 10 minute bike ride to the med campus, 0.5 mile to either the Palo Alto or Menlo Park Caltrain stations, and walking distance to Safeway. The available room can easily fit a queen bed, desk, dresser, and has its own walk-in closet (can come furnished on request). Rent is $1350 per month and utilities are usually around $50 per month (including PG&E and internet). Unfortunately, no pets allowed by the terms of the lease. Can potentially come furnished.
