Dr. Rasgon, Director of the Stanford Center for Neuroscience in Women's Health, is conducting a longitudinal 4-year study on the effects of insulin resistance on accelerated cognitive aging.
Participants: men and women, English-speaking, ages 27-44 years, BMI 25-35 (if you are unsure of your BMI, feel free to check the chart attached!)
Appointments include blood testing for glucose and insulin levels, a blood draw for genotyping, memory testing, and a structural and functional MRI scan. We are offering up to $350 compensation for participation over the 4 years.
