Stanford start-up, January.ai, is seeking a college, medical or graduate student interested in career in healthcare or research to assist with clinical research study operations from May through August 2019. In the role of Clinical Research Assistant, you’ll work closely with January’s clinical, product and machine learning teams to enroll study participants and capture quality data from wearable devices to inform January’s proprietary machine learning algorithms.

Responsibilities:

• Implement clinical studies managing the details of participant recruitment, informed consent and onboarding
• Work with clinical product and data teams to capture product user feedback
• Recruit study participants through social media outlets
• Interact directly with study participants
• Work cross-functionally with product, business development, and machine learning teams to deliver clinical studies on time
• Work collaboratively to define and optimize processes for effectiveness, efficiency and consistency

Successful candidate will have:

• Familiarity with Human Subjects Research and Good Clinical Practices or willingness to learn
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with superb attention to detail
• Strong relationship-building skills
• In-depth knowledge of the spectrum of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc) for participant recruitment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Agile thinker and doer who can pivot quickly based on the needs of the team and outcome
