We are subletting our 2 bedroom/1 bath starting June 1, 2019, though earlier start date may be possible. We still have two more months remaining on our lease (June and July), but you can negotiate for a longer 12-month lease with the landlord after July. There are four apartments in the premise, with the other three apartments currently occupied by young professionals who work in the Berkeley area.

We are located in West Berkeley, ~10-12 min car ride from Berkeley, less than 3 min walk from the Fourth Street dining and shopping, and are conveniently close to the I-580. We are located right across from the Berkeley community center and a baseball field, which offers kids-friendly activities throughout the year. Three playgrounds are 1, 15 and 25 min walking distance, respectively. Furthermore, there is easy access to public transportation that takes you all the way to Berkeley campus.

The apartment will be available to you unfurnished. The apartment (located on the second floor and behind a gate) is a little more than 900 sq ft with an off-street parking spot, garbage included, washer/dryer inside the unit. Electricity/gas/water/wifi are not included.
