It's in a wonderful location and is a great apartment in an awesome location. This would be ideal for somebody who has a summer internship in Berkeley or Oakland.

One bedroom in a sunny, spacious, two bedroom carriage house apartment available on the Oakland/Berkeley border. Includes walk-in closet, furnished kitchen, large living room, and shared bathroom. All hard floors - the carpet in the picture is being replaced at the end of May. The apartment is also being professionally cleaned before June 1st. Laundry and storage space on site. Backyard is shared with landlady - it includes a fire pit and outdoor couches! Street parking only, but the apartment isn’t on a through street, so there are always spots available.
Ten minute walk from the Ashby Bart; three minute walk from the 18 bus line; eight minute walk from the 6 bus line. Ten minute walk to Berkeley Bowl! It’s also close to the on ramps for 980, 580, and highway 24 if you’re more of a driver. There’s a coffee shop on the corner and lots of restaurants within walking distance.
WiFi is Sonic and it’s about $17/month. Utilities with PGE range from $20/person/month to $70/person/month, but typically on the lower end in the summer. Water and trash pickup are included in the rent!
Pets are not allowed.
