$1,400
After lovingly living in this apartment for the past 3 years I'm moving out for a new job in Southern California...so my room is available!
This posting is for the converted living room downstairs in a 1250 sq ft 2-floor apartment in the heart of Mission Bay at the Strata apartment building (https://www.stratasf.com/floorplans.aspx - 'Sea Cliff' layout).
APARTMENT:
2-floor 'townhouse' style apartment with 2 bedrooms (upstairs) and 2.5 baths! It's the Sea Cliff layout (see floorplan in the pics above).
UPSTAIRS: Upstairs is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, along with another bedroom and bathroom. Your shower will be in this second bathroom upstairs shared with 1 person but you’ll have your own half-bathroom downstairs.
DOWNSTAIRS: We have converted the dining room on the first floor to be a 3rd bedroom, which still leaves a spacious separate living room with room for two full couches, coffee table, and TV (as you can see in the pictures).
AMENITIES:
Like most of the new buildings in Mission Bay, Strata has:
--A complete gym
--3rd floor 'rooftop' courtyard with great views, a fire pit, bocce court, and a common room (where they host cooking classes twice a month -- Chef Joel is great!)
--Washer and dryer in the unit (which is SO key)
--Amazon package locker (building texts you a code for each package you receive)
NEIGHBORHOOD:
--7 minute walk to Caltrain (super convenient for commuters to South Bay; I’ve been doing it the whole time I lived here)
--CorePower yoga studio, Reveille coffee shop, and Joe & The Juice across the street
--2 blocks from the KT muni line
--Spark Social food truck park 2 blocks away, with awesome nightly and weekend activities
ROOMMATES:
You'll be living with 2 wonderful roommates! The second one is TBD as one of the roommates upstairs is moving out August 1st to travel the world for a few months.
Remaining roommate is an early-30s guy - has the upstairs master bedroom. Works down on the peninsula, so drives down most days during the week. Moved to SF from the east coast (Pennsylvania) a few years back and moved into this apartment late last year.
YOU:
Ideally you're a 20/30-something that's looking for a solid apartment and possibly also a Caltrain commuter (too convenient!). Not too boisterous during the week, but not a recluse as well -- ideally everyone can be social, cook, etc. during the week and on the weekends while each having their own friends, of course.
PRICE:
~$1400/month plus utilities
(We each pay the building directly via check/online for rent, sewer, garbage, water, so the exact amount varies slightly month to month. Internet and electricity are separate from the building and we just split 3 ways and Venmo.)
What you get: a converted living room as your bedroom, closet, your own half-bathroom (shared shower only), a great apartment/roommates and a washer/dryer in-unit!
I am considering selling my furniture so we can discuss if you're interested!
LEASE:
You'll be signing on officially to the existing lease ($30 application fee) which ends January 4, 2020 and you can of course renew at that point if wanted.
DEPOSIT:
$333 (super low for SF!)
MOVE-IN DATE:
September 1, 2019 (with possibly a little bit of wiggle room)
If interested please respond with a little about yourself and if possible LinkedIn.
