We have a room open in our 3 bed/1 bath apartment in the Mission (in San Francisco) available for immediate move-in.

We’re looking for a short-term renter for the summer, to move out in September or early October (dates flexible).

We are two male PhD students in our mid-20s. We each commute to campus 3 or 4 times a week. We're fairly social and have friends over on weekends fairly frequently, but we are also respectful and the apartment is pretty quiet most of the time. We also have a very playful 9-month-old kitten named Penny.

⁃The bedroom is roughly 12' by 10' with large windows. It is furnished with a double bed (Casper mattress, 1 year old), a vanity, dresser, mirrors, and an area rug.

⁃Rent is $1,490 per month, plus utilities (PG&E + internet) which usually work out to about $50/month. Security deposit of one month's rent.

⁃Easy access to transit: 10-minute bike ride to the Caltrain station, 10 minute walk to the 16th and Mission BART station, close to many Muni bus lines (the 22, 55, 12, 33, 14, 49, and 9 are all within a few blocks)

⁃Large living area with hardwood floors and modern appliances (including dishwasher), high ceilings, large windows, and lots of natural light

⁃In-unit washer and dryer

⁃Located at the north end of the Mission, 10-15 minute walk to the Valencia corridor, 20 minute walk to Dolores Park, several grocery stores within a 10-minute walk

⁃Street parking is usually available within a block or two
