We have a secondary bedroom in a 2b2b apartment for rent starting from August 1st (sharing bathroom with another very neat roommate) The room has two side wall mirrors with internal closet space. There is plenty of room for storage and hanging clothes, a skylight, and a window pointing towards a quiet cul-de-sac, very nice to live in. You may bring your own furniture or purchase the existing ones in the room (bed, desk, chair etc. for ~ $400). The living room is large and the kitchen has a tall fridge, four electric cooktops, oven, microwave, dishwasher and more. The address is at James Rd, Palo Alto, 12 minutes by car from Stanford and 15 minutes by bike. The surrounding neighborhood is very secure and friendly. There is a swimming pool in the yard, with excellent landscaping in and around the complex. There are parks and many restaurants nearby, with plenty of parking space on the street. The rent is $1,188 per month, and three roommates share costs for internet, electricity, and water (about $80 per month). We hope to find a roommate who is quiet and friend, with priority given to Stanford affiliates. The room is available starting from August 1st, 2019 (can be a few days earlier if needed), 12 months term preferred. The two male roommates who live here now are both Stanford STEM postdocs who spend very little time at home.
