12 month lease beginning August 1, 2019. The room is suitable for an individual or a couple. If you don’t want to stay the full 12 months, the landlord is open to having you find a replacement as long as she doesn’t have to find one herself. The landlord is very sweet and responsive.

The apartment is located on College Ave, a couple blocks behind the graduate dorm Escondido Village and around the corner from a small park. The apartment has 2 equally-sized bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the top floor, and the lower floor has a kitchen (with dishwasher) that opens into a large living room, a powder room, and a washer/dryer in a closet. There’s room for 2 cars to park in the driveway, 1 covered and the other uncovered. The whole place has either hardwood or tile flooring, no carpet anywhere. It comes unfurnished. The water bill is included in the rent; other utilities will be split per person among all residents.

Currently, there is 1 occupant (my friend, a Stanford graduate student) who is using 1 bedroom and 1 parking space. I had originally planned on being the other occupant, but a change of plans has me finding a replacement. The apartment is incredibly nice and would make a great place to live for someone who wants a quiet neighborhood, considerate roommate, space to host, and as close to Stanford campus as possible. Looking for someone or a couple to take our space in the apartment for $2424. Any negotiations on price would be discussed with the current occupant.
