I've definitely tested them on the waterproofness, and they really stand up to the challenge, in terms of the oiled leather keeping water out and the neoprene keeping my feet warm when the water does get in. To maintain waterpoofness, you will likely need to Sno-seal them or something once a season.

Treads are in great condition, like new (I’ve only worn these about 10 times). I am selling because they are unfortunately not that great on smooth wet surfaces (aka boats), but I've found them to be really sticky on roughed but icy surfaces (still, be careful on ice!)
