We are a group of male Stanford Med students and a Google employee looking for a short or long-term sub-letter to take a room in our lovely four bedroom house.
We are located in Mountain View right off of Middlefield Rd and Easy St. This is a lovely location perfect for any young professional starting at NASA, Google, Apple, Santa Clara Valley Hospital, Palo Alto VA, or Stanford Hospitals. We are a few minutes from great outdoor hiking trails and downtown Mountain View!
The place has two bathrooms and four rooms. Your room is pictured below and is fully furnished by our outgoing roommate including bed, desk, drawers, and night stand. The kitchen has new stainless steel fridge and dishwasher, electric stove and microwave, plenty of shared silverware, dishes, and other kitchenware. We also added a new island with space for dining and preparing meals. A cherry red stand mixer is also in use if you are a baker! The living room has plenty of sitting space and we always welcome guests (with some notice) to watch movies or play games on our large TV and many game consoles. In the back, we have a full squat rack with bench and free weights, as well as an exercise bike that you are also welcome to use. We have also purchased some outdoor seating and a firepit that will be in use soon for winter marshmallows! There is also a combo washer dryer in the back.
We are very flexible with time, from 1 month short stays to longer term into next year, although we would prefer the longer commitment you can make. Happy to talk and negotiate what's best! We are especially welcoming to students on internships or away rotations looking for a Stanford residencies or job opportunities in the area. We would be happy to organize carpools as possible and provide whatever access we can to Stanford University resources such as libraries and gyms! Utilities, including internet, garbage, electric, gas and water are not included and typically are around $40-50 a month total.
