You would be living with a Stanford post-doc, and someone working in a tech startup. They are quite easy-going, and don't really spend much time in the house. You would be taking over my girlfriend's part of the "lease" - which is extremely flexible. If you decide to move out, you just need to give 30 days notice so they can find somebody to replace you (which is fairly easy to do, given the price/location).

House Rules:

• No couples, but overnight guests are welcome. (ie, you and your partner should not plan to live here together, but staying over a couple nights here and there is fine)
• No pets

• Why are you leaving? My girlfriend and I are getting our own place. She signed the lease before I unexpectedly got a job in the area.
• Is it furnished? The living areas are fully furnished, the bedroom is unfurnished.
