My roommate and I are looking to assign our lease of a 2b/2b apartment in Mountain View near San Antonio Shopping Center. It is a cozy apartment with great location and convenient facilities. I got this assignment from a Stanford affiliate with her rate in 2015 and have been living here since 2017. We are moving out because of work relocation and family reason, and if you take the assignment, you will be entitled to enjoy our current rate, which is lower than the market level.
The price for the whole apartment is approximately $2650 per month, excluding utilities such as Wi-Fi, water, electricity and gas etc. The total estimate including utilities per month would be around $2,850 to $3,000 subject to the actual usage. The price is SUPER competitive considering the space, location and the private bathroom. If not for the reasons above, we would be reluctant to move out. We would be willing to find someone who will love this place as much as we do to take over this lovely place.
The apartment will be available on or around March 5, 2020. If you are interested, we will need to sign a couple of assignment documents, and then the apartment is yours!
This apartment has just been upgraded and underwent rehabilitation, with new stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors. Each bedroom is currently furnished with a queen-size bed/ single-size bed, desk and closet. For common area, it has a hardwood table with four chairs, a bookshelf, a mirror and a shoe-shelf. These items were carefully selected to decorate our place and have not been bought for very long. If you and your future roommate need these furniture, we are happy to sell them with great discounts.
You will have a private parking lot available and another open space assigned for visitor’s parking.
The apartment is very close to the San Antonio Shopping Center, CalTrain, Target, Kohls, grocery stores, 24-Hour Fitness and restaurants (For details, please see below). It’s a safe neighborhood and a perfect place to live for short visit!
5-minute walk to the San Antonio Shopping Center, where Trader Joe’s, Safeway, Walmart, Target, Whole Food and CVS are convenient for groceries and daily shopping.
10-minute walk to CalTrain station for daily commute or a getaway on weekends to San Francisco/ San Jose.
5-minute walk to bus station where Line 22, 35 and 522 take you to school and places in Palo Alto. Stanford Shuttle (Line SE) stops right at the gate of Walmart, where takes 5-10 minutes to get there by walk.
15-minute drive or 35-minute bike to Stanford, 7-minute drive to downtown Mountain View, 8-minute drive to Ranch 99 and 9-minute drive to Google etc.
