A super cool home on University Ave. next to downtown Palo Alto. We're a group of guys in our mid- to late-20s who work professionally in Tech or at Stanford. We hang out from time to time, whether it is in our living room or out downtown (before COVID-19). We get along really well.

We're a 10-minute walk to downtown Palo Alto, a 15-minute bike ride to Stanford's campus, and a 10- to 15-minute drive to Facebook and Google. Downtown has a Whole Foods, the CalTrain, and much more. There are also Safeways on El Camino Real and on Middlefield Road.

We're renting out a room (~350 sq. ft.) for one person or a couple, with a shared bathroom and laundry on site. We are looking for someone to take over the room on June 1st, 2020.

The following includes the monthly & frequently occurring charges:

• Rent: $1550 / month
• Cleaners: $50 / 3 months (this happens once every three months, but is completely optional)
• Laundry: $3 / load ($1.50 for washing & $1.50 for drying)

It should be noted that the monthly rent increases by $50 every year, where this is applied in the month of October.
The following includes the one-time charges:

• Deposit: $550 (paid once at the start and received back at the end)
• Application: $35 (one-time fee)

The lease is indefinite, where you can stay here as long as you want. If you want to sublet for one, two, or three months, that works! Once you leave, you need to find a replacement. We can help you with that.
