A super cool home on University Ave. next to downtown Palo Alto. We're a group of guys in our mid- to late-20s who work professionally in Tech or at Stanford. We hang out from time to time, whether it is in our living room or out downtown (before COVID-19). We get along really well.

We're a 10-minute walk to downtown Palo Alto, a 15-minute bike ride to Stanford's campus, and a 10- to 15-minute drive to Facebook and Google. Downtown has a Whole Foods, the CalTrain, and much more. There are also Safeways on El Camino Real and on Middlefield Road.

We're renting out a room (~400 sq. ft.) for one person, with a shared bathroom and laundry on site. We are looking for someone to take over the room on Aug. 23rd, 2020 or later.

The following includes the monthly & frequently occurring charges:

• Rent: $1550 / month
• Cleaners: $55 / 3 months (this happens once every three months, but is completely optional)
• Laundry: $3 / load ($1.50 for washing & $1.50 for drying)

It should be noted that the monthly rent increases by $50 every year, where this is applied in the month of October.

The following includes the one-time charges:

• Deposit: $800 (paid once at the start and received back at the end)
• Application: $40 (one-time fee)

The lease is indefinite, where you can stay here as long as you want. However, we prefer people who will be here for 6 months or more (though we are flexible). Once you leave, you need to find a replacement.
