$1,400
I and my husband are planning to move to a new 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment at Eaves Mountain View at Middlefield. We are planning to make a new lease contract (10-12 months) from Oct 1 (flexible) with another person(s). So, we are looking for a new flatmate (single/duo, male/female, working professional/student - max 2 people). The price will be around $1400/month and equal share of the utilities with us.
About the Apartment:
It is a 972 sq.ft. apartment with your personal attached bathroom and a shared kitchen, living room, and balcony (for details about amenities, please refer to the link below). The apartment is located in a beautiful neighborhood close to the Caltrain station (Mountain View) and Castro Street (10 mins walk). Groceries (Safeway/local supermarkets/Farmer’s market) are at a 5-15min walking distance. 101 highway and El Camino are within <1 mile. The ‘Stevens Creek Trail’ entrance is just 0.6 mile away. The apartment is pet-friendly, has ample parking facility and multiple amenities including heated pool, spa, tennis and basketball courts, Club house with indoor games, and Fitness Centre (with restricted use in Covid-19). High-speed internet is available (indoor and common area). Laundry facility is available in the same building. We especially like the apartment complex for its quiet, lush-green, spacious surroundings and friendly staff. For more information and photos please visit the website of the housing.

About Us:
We are a married couple in our early 30s, originally from India, living in this housing since November, 2019. My husband is Postdoctoral researcher at Stanford Medical School. I am currently looking for jobs after finishing my postdoc. We are friendly and peace-loving people. We mostly keep to ourselves, but also like socializing. We both love music and arts and spend our leisure time in singing or some playing musical instruments. We love cooking and exploring new cuisines (my husband is a non-vegetarian and I am a vegan, yet we do not fight!). We like spending our weekends in exploring nature and new places (which is now, of course, restricted), watching movies, playing games, and socializing.
About You:
Ideally you would be a working professional or student who is able to pay rent on time. Anyone who is responsible, respectful, easy-going, peaceful, and open-minded would be a good fit. Interest in arts/music/science/philosophy would be a plus. No restriction on cooking (we can also cook together sometimes, if you like). No smoking inside the housing (as it is a smoke-free community). Occasional guests are welcome, but please let us know beforehand if they use the common spaces. Noise level should be kept low between 10pm and 7am according to the community rule. The living room includes a few furniture, a TV, which you are free to use; but you are also welcome to bring your own if you have. If you have pet(s), that will be awesome too!
If this sounds like a good fit, and/or you need more information, please contact us. We can send you more picture and plan a virtual tour or an in person visit.
