Finding a new roommate for my current roommates as I'm leaving in November.
The apartment is located at the corner of El Camino Real and Arastradero Rd. About 15 min drive to Stanford campus. Less than 5 min walk to Walgreen, 20 min walk to Walmart or Grocery Outlet. Public bus #22 #522 and Stanford shuttle line SE are available at nearby bus stations.
The living room is furnished with a full-size bed, a desk and a chair, as well as two closets on the other side. The apartment is now shared with two male residents, a Stanford postdoc and a software engineer in a startup company. Since both of them prefer to stay in their bedrooms, you can have the whole living room as your own.
The rent is $950/month, utilities and Internet not included (about $50/month). The deposit is $2500 in total shared by all residents ($833.3 for each). Every resident will sign a contract with the landlord directly, so it's not subleasing at all.
One potential problem is that the Stanford postdoc is also preparing to leave so you may need to find another renter with the software guy to share the rent and deposit.
