A charming in-law house is available for a 1 year lease starting anytime between 11/28/20 and 12/01/20. It's an affordable COVID19 escape perfect for work/study in downstairs area, and sleeping upstairs in the loft.

The house is furnished with a leather couch, lamp, side table, lazy boy chair, dishes, dining table and 4 chairs, and a single and double bed in the loft.

The kitchen has a full-size fridge and freezer, oven and stove, and lots of cabinet and counter space. The bathroom has a cabinet, shower, sink, and toilet. There is a closet with light, and ample storage space both downstairs and upstairs. The house has hardwood and ceramic floors, and carpet in the loft area.The house is full of light with lots of windows and 3 skylights (I love it), and it even has a small private backyard.

The house is located 2 blocks from University Avenue in downtown Palo Alto, and is 2 miles from Stanford. Street parking is readily available, and there is a backyard to keep your bike.

The rent includes the water, heat, gas, and electricity. I also share the high-speed internet with the tenant next door (~$30.00 per month).

First and last months rent, and a deposit of $500.00 is required to move in.

I am a postdoc here at Stanford, and I have decided to move back home to Toronto to be closer to my family. Otherwise, I would have renewed for another year.

The house is ideal for a single person. No pets preferred. No on-site washer/dryer.
