I'm looking for a friendly someone to take over my room in a modern Palo Alto home. The house is composed of a peaceful and considerate group of young professionals who like to socialize once a week or so in the sunny garden or garage. Safety during the current pandemic is taken seriously and discussed openly amongst all housemates.

The room

• This is a spacious, sunlit room with plenty of room for a queen-sized bed, desk and wardrobe.
• Unfurnished
• You will share a bathroom with one other housemate who is very clean.
• Available in December. Exact dates are flexible.

The house:

• The house has 6 bedrooms. The house is attached to a separate unit (2 bd) and a separate studio (1 person).
• Large fully equipped kitchen. You won’t need to bring any dishes/cutlery/cookware of your own.
• Comfortably furnished living room with TV.
• Large private garden with excellent garage that is used for exercise, table tennis and movies. This is a highlight of the house, especially during lockdown.
• A/C and heating.
• On site washer/dryer.
• Lots of parking.

The area:

• Situated in a peaceful, residential area of Palo Alto.
• Excellent location for Stanford (3 miles), Google (2.5 miles), Tesla HQ (2.5 miles). 5 minute walk to the Facebook shuttle bus stop.
• Walking distance to Grocery Outlet, Charleston Shopping Centre (coffee and good food), Mountain View shopping area (Target, Trader Joe’s and much more).

Price:

• $1255/month, plus $1105 security deposit.
• Utilities and monthly cleaning included.
• Current lease runs until August 2021 and is renewable.
• The house is managed by Bungalow, who are very quick to take care of any issues.
