1. Performing experiments involving stem cell culture and sub-culture processes. The candidate will be expected to have a solid background in mammalian stem cell biology. Experience of processing human, rabbit and murine tissues, extract cells from primary origin and establish culture would be preferred.
2. The work will involve understanding how different culture protocols involving nutritional, chemical, physical inducers may affect stem cell expression profile.
3. Perform cell culture, genomic analysis, RT PCR, ELISA assays, histology, flow cytometry and other molecular bench work with thorough knowledge of Cell based assays, various microscopic techniques including confocal studies and Electron Microscopy.
4. Assist R&D scientists in the design, production, and characterization of exosomes including but not limited to transient transfection, chromatographic purification, and affinity characterization by flow cytometry, vFC or cell binding and uptake assays.
5. Prior knowledge of Lipid Nanoparticle based macromolecular cargo delivery and cellular uptake analysis would be helpful.
6. Characterize scaffold expression and binding affinity by a variety of assays including interferometry, SPR, and vesicle flow cytometry would be preferred.
7. Experience in handling and dosing experimental animals (rodents) for all major routes of administration and dosing will be a plus.
8. Purification of cell derived secretome, exosomes for multiple biomarkers- including RNA and protein based biomarker characterization will be a key undertaken.
9. Cell based functional assays based on anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic, anti/ pro-angiogenic, cell migration (scratch) and re-innervation assays will be a key undertaken.
10. Adhere to SOPs, study protocols and study reports to ensure GLP-like studies are performed.

• Regularly exercise technical discretion in design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project goals. Select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions within broadly defined practices and procedures
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses. Communicate these results regularly at team meetings.
• Manage laboratory resources, ordering reagents and other lab supplies as needed.
• Make detailed observations, analyse data, and interpret results. Summarize experimental data timely and assist in drafting figures, results, and methods for publication under the direction of the PI.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the present scientific literature relating to the research in the laboratory.
• The candidate should have good publication record, Author and contribute to development reports, scientific publications, patents, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate tasks across multiple projects, demonstrating prioritization and planning.
