I am moving out, and looking for someone to take my place in a beautiful and spacious 4bd/2ba home in E. Palo Alto. The room is already available, and the furniture you see in the pictures (bed, table+chair, drawers, if needed also some cookware and plates) can be borrowed for the duration of the lease or can go depending on your preference.

Until the end of the current lease on May 31st, the rent for the room will be reduced to $900/month. It is a convenient solution for someone looking for a short-term rental, while long term solutions and eventual revewal of the lease should be discussed directly with the landlord.

You will have a large private bedroom (130 sqft - (12' 9'' x 10'') w closet (4' 7'' x 1' 8'')) and share the bathroom with another person. Big and furnished common spaces (living and dining room, kitchen, backyard), plus parking space available in the driveway.
The house is conveniently located 10 min drive from downtown Palo Alto (both downtown and Stanford campus are within bikeable distance)…AND only a few minutes walk from the Bay, with nice trails for cycling, jogging or walking! (which is a real blast, especially in this period of social distancing and outdoor activities)

You will be living with three roommates working between Stanford and SLAC (a couple+1male with whom you will share the bathroom). They are rather quiet and generally focused on their work, but they are also happy to get to know other people. They are generally environmentally conscious, and in this period very careful about social distancing and keeping everyone safe.
Two cockatiels (small birds) live in the back bedroom, but no additional pets are allowed.
