We have a room open in our spacious house in Palo Alto and are looking for a new housemate. We are young professionals in their 20s who enjoy cooking, yoga, hiking, watching Netflix, etc.

The house is half of a complex and has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, with the four bedrooms on the four corners of the top floor and the kitchen, living room, laundry and half-bath downstairs. The rest of the complex is 2 other townhomes, with whom we share a large outdoor patio area behind the building. The parking spot that comes with the apartment is under the building, so it’s covered. The laundry machines are free to use, no coin-op or laundry fees.

The bedroom is about 10 ft x 9 ft, with northwest and northeast facing windows and a large closet with mirror sliding doors. The windows let in lots of light and have a nice cross-breeze when they’re both open. There’s also a heater along the floor on one wall, which does a great job of keeping the room cozy on colder nights.

The bathroom is private, with a standing shower, sink, and toilet. There’s plenty of storage space, under the sink and in the mirrored cabinet next to the sink.

Our home is conveniently located in Palo Alto: about a 15 min bike ride from Stanford Campus and walking distance to two grocery stores and California Avenue. The living room is furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils that we will happily share. There's lots of storage space in the kitchen, and you'll have half a fridge and freezer, a cabinet, and a drawer plus counter space for any kitchenware you do have.

The room will be available on March 31st, but your move-in date can be anytime thereafter. Rent is $1430/mo. Utilities are around $50 a month (includes everything- fast internet, water, electricity, garbase/sewage). Deposit is 1 month’s rent.
