The house is a spacious 4BR/3BA house in a quiet, safe, wealthy neighborhood of
the Redwood City hills near the 280 freeway, 15 minutes from Stanford by car.
Tidy and quiet.
Washer and dryer.
State-of-the-art kitchen: dishwasher, microwave oven, trash compactor, etc
Large living room with fireplace
Backyard with lots of fruit trees.

We (a couple) rent two rooms upstairs, each with private bathroom.
One room is currently occupied by a young engineer (very quiet and tidy).
The other room will be available soon because the current tenant is moving abroad.
Redwood City hills, near 280 exit Farm Hill Blvd.
The room is about 11'x13' (3.5m x 4m) plus a closet.
Furniture includes bookcases, full-size bed, desk/table, lamp...
Two closets in the hallway for storage, besides the one in the room.
The bathroom has a tub and tiles.
Lots of kitchenware available in the kitchen.
Also some sheets, blankets, etc.
You really don't need anything other than your clothes!

We are looking for a quiet, responsible, tidy professional/student.
We don't have chores, everybody cleans after themselves.
We have been covid-conscious since the beginning.

The swimming pool has been shut down due to the drought.
$1,400/ month plus utilities (about $80 each/mo).

I am a male Italian writer/lecturer and my wife is a Chinese journalist and
writer. We are both vegetarian. Not a requirement, but if you are vegetarian,
you'll have company and can taste some veggie Chinese and Italian dishes.
Although not a requirement, none of us drinks alcohol.

No pets, no smoking/drugs (inside or outside).
