We're looking for four new members for our cooperative living community!

Idyllwild is located in Los Altos Hills (~10 min drive from Stanford's campus, ~25 min bike). Perks of the locale include plentiful walking paths with panoramic views of the Bay Area, destination road biking routes, and a flourishing wildlife population featuring golden pheasants, coyotes, and our bougie neighbors’ horses.

The house is currently ten people (six Stanford affiliates), mostly current students and tech workers. Many people in the house have prior experience with cooperative living. We are all invested in building intentional community, which has been a huge benefit throughout the pandemic. We would love to have even more housemates interested in improving the space and contributing to the social atmosphere. We have a communal grocery system facilitated by a Costco membership, which makes it easy to cook together spontaneously as well as for our weekly house dinners. There are lots of board game nights, cooking & baking, monthly book club, late-night hot tub hangouts, making use of the garage pool table, and sampling the ample shelf of bottles left behind by previous tenants ;)

We have an evolving covid policy based on CDC guidelines; about half of our residents are fully vaccinated, and the rest are eagerly awaiting their turn.

As workplaces reopen, four of our dear friends have been called back to their offices in SF, so we will have four open single rooms. All of the rooms are furnished with a bed and desk. Rent is in the $800-900/month range. Ideal move-in date would be early May, and we have a preference for tenants who can commit to staying for at least six months.
