I'm moving out of my current shared apartment before the end of May since my wife is moving back to CA from another state. My housemate plans to stay, so I am posting for him to find a new housemate. It should be available in early June (negotiable with the landlord but I suppose he will need a few days to do some cleaning).

The apartment is on Fremont St., Menlo Park, close to its cross with Santa Cruz Ave. Very quiet and beautiful neighborhood, walking distance to the grocery stores and restaurants in downtown and only minutes' drive away from Safeway and Stanford shopping center. Biking or driving to Stanford both takes about 10 min.

The apartment has a very spacious living and dining area as well as a balcony (2nd floor), and the common area is furnished (dining table, chairs, couch, tea table, etc.). You will occupy one bedroom and one bathroom. The other housemate has his own bedroom with a bathroom inside so you won't disturb each other by much. The apartment has both heating and cooling, which function pretty well. Downstairs has a parking spot, a laundry room (which is shared with only 2 or 3 other neighbors and thus almost always available), and a quite large storage room that is shared with your housemate.

The rent is $1650/month, including water, garbage, and sewage. You will share the PG&E and Internet bill with the housemate. Pets are unfortunately not allowed. The landlord is very nice and always responsive to our requests. The housemate is a research scientist in a tech company, who is a very quiet person and rarely cooks.
