Large, sunny, fully furnished room available in quaint five-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a large
kitchen in Midtown Palo Alto! This room is spacious and comfortable, with multiple windows that provide lots of natural
lighting. The bonus is the cute built-in window seat area. It also has a huge and beautiful backyard, with fig,
lemon, and lime trees, as well as a fire pit and large deck. It is the perfect place for working
outside, lounging, and hosting friends. There is also a detached, two-room shed/garage that
provides extra storage space. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and is located on a quiet,
dead-end street with lots of free parking. It is in a fantastic location; a 10-minute walk to the
nearest grocery store (Safeway on Middlefield) and a 30-minute walk to the weekend Palo Alto
farmer’s market. It is also a convenient 10-min drive or 15-min bike ride from Stanford’s
campus, as well as minutes from the 101 entrance ramps.

The room comes fully furnished with a queen-size bed frame and mattress, bedside table, vintage
armoire, large white cabinet, desk, desk chair, coat rack, full-length mirror, window seat
cushions, and a small white bookshelf. There is no closet, but there is a free-standing clothing
rack and hangers available that previous tenants used to hang clothing that can be brought back
into the room if desired.

Looking for a tenant who is willing to take the room fully furnished for an additional $500 (for all the
previously mentioned furniture). The room is connected to the kitchen and across the house from
most of the other bedrooms (you share a bedroom wall with one other roommate), making it
quiet and private. It is also connected to the laundry room, which provides a separate
entrance/exit to the home.

The other roommates include 4 wonderful, professional working women in their late 20s and
early 30s. You would share this main bathroom with 3 other girls, yet conflicting
bathroom schedules have never been a big issue as two girls are typically out of the house for
work in the early hours of the morning.

The rent is $955 a month plus utilities ($65-85 depending on the season). Each tenant also pays
$27.50 a month for a cleaning service that cleans the common areas every other week
($13.75/each a visit). We also have twice a month landscaping services that is paid for by the
landlord. In total, I typically pay just under $1100 a month for all expenses included. It is a great deal for the area.
