Hello prospective housemate!

1. We are looking to fill our third bedroom in a lovely, spacious home next to Mitchell Park in Palo Alto. It's located in a quiet residential area, one block from a bike path that takes you directly downtown Palo Alto or Stanford University in about 20-25 minutes. We are also a 10 minute walk from Charleston Shopping Center which features Peets Coffee & Tea, Piazza's Market, Pet food express, Rick's ice cream, and more.

2. Our house has a large backyard/front yard maintained by a gardener on a weekly basis - including orange, lemon, apricot, and plum trees, in addition to a deck+patio,. We have a garage for additional storage, in-house laundry, and central heating. House is maintained by Whitley Property Management and is very well taken care of (prompt and attentive to any needs). The bathroom is shared (sinks + toilet + shower + bathtub) and a linen closet for more storage if so desired.

We have a medium sized driveway, there is ample street parking and no street parking restrictions. The back patio has shade + table + chairs and there is a garden bed available should you be interested in growing vegetables.

1. Your future roommates: A male in his 30s working as a post-doctoral student at SLAC, and splits his time working remotely and onsite. The other roommate is a staff scientist in his 30s at Stanford,and spends most of his day on campus at work. No couples, sorry.

2. The available room is 13x12ft, mostly unfurnished, with a small closet, and two patio doors that open to a deck into the backyard. Month to month lease

Room cost: $1550 per month
Utilities + internet: ~$100-150 per month
Security Deposit: $1500

   We are looking for a laid-back, courteous, and responsible housemate who will contribute to keeping the place both tidy and enjoyable. We want to maintain a respectful, friendly environment.
