About the property

We have one bedroom available in a 3 bedroom/2 bath home starting July 1st , signing for a 1 year lease. The room will not be furnished, but the last owner is willing to sell the furniture if requested. The house has an open living room/dining room and a large kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher. There are 2 parking spaces available in the driveway, and plenty of street parking (no permit required). The house is a 1-2 minute walk to Safeway on Woodside Road, with Starbucks and Dunkin’ right around the corner. There is in-house washer/dryer in the garage. Located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood and is about a 15-20 minute drive to Stanford. The available room will be sharing the upstairs bath. Additional payments include utilities (~35/month) & internet. Monthly rent is $1200 and is expected to be paid to one of the housemates by the first of each month. We will be signing the lease together and the landlord is asking for one check payments.

About us

Both housemates work at Stanford, in the hospital and in research. We are looking for someone who is looking to stay in the area for a while. Applicants should not be too sensitive to noise, one of us runs a livestream as a second job and we do not get too loud but sometimes the stream runs late. We are both easygoing and friendly people and we are looking forward to getting a new housemate!
