About me....

Personality/housemate type:

I'm a friendly, outgoing, clean housemate with a wide variety of interests. World travel is a passion of mine, I've been to 6 of the 7 continents so far and over 14 countries including Egypt, India, Vietnam, Italy, Japan, Australia, Indonesia and more. Road trips are also a hobby of mine, in 2019 I did an 11,000 mile road trip around the USA in 6 weeks, visiting over 15 states, I do weekend trips to Southern California to visit beaches like La Jolla in San Diego, Laguna Beach, and Santa Barbara, as well as weekend trips for camping and national parks like Yosemite. Playing guitar and piano / creating music has been something I've loved since a kid, mostly I play by ear and record in an amateur studio. Learning languages is also something I love to do, I've learned Spanish fluently and some Japanese, I'm working now on learning Arabic, French, and some Russian (Russian for becoming an astronaut).

Career / Educational Background:

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California - San Diego (in La Jolla, CA) and will begin my Master's in Materials Science and Engineering Fall 2021 at Stanford University. Some past companies / orgs I've interned and worked at include SpaceX in LA, Lockheed Martin Space, Students for the Exploration and Development of Space, and two Materials Science research laboratories. My future career aspirations include doing research and creating new materials for deep space exploration, becoming an astronaut (childhood dream), and becoming a university professor (I love teaching too).
