I am a Stanford PhD student subletting my spacious room from September-November 2021 in a small, friendly cooperative house in Palo Alto while I pursue an internship. The room comes fully furnished with a full-sized bed, couch (that sleeps as a twin bed), a spacious standing desk with 2-external monitors and a ring light for Zoom, a powerful air purifier (brings particles down to 1-5 ppm during fire season), a large closet, tasteful original art, hardwood floors, and ample lighting. I have quite a few houseplants, which you can optionally enjoy (else, I will find another temporary home for them). I’m a stickler for cleanliness, so the room is in pristine condition.
The room shares a bathroom with a clean and respectful housemate. The room is quiet and does not get noise from other parts of the house or neighbors in the unit. The house has a spacious living room with fish tank, fireplace, and piano, a recently renovated kitchen with granite countertops, garden, two patios, and in-unit washer/drier.
This room is part of the Bubbaland Cooperative House located in Professorville, Palo Alto. We are conveniently located near downtown Palo Alto, right behind the Town and Country Plaza. We are a 10-min walk to the Palo Alto Caltrain station, a 3-min bike ride to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods, and a 10-min bike ride to Stanford’s main quad
Price is $1300, negotiable, including utilities. Please email me with a brief paragraph introducing yourself and why you’re interested in the room and collective living. I can send many more pictures and set up a time to do a virtual or in-person tour.
