Do you have strong IT skills, and are interested in research ? Do you want to help figure out how the human brain works ? Perhaps you've just finished undergrad or grad school, and you're looking for a job in academia. Or maybe you've spent some time working in industry as a software engineer, but you'd like to get some research experience. Or you want to go to graduate school, but you need some lab experience ? This might be the perfect job for you.
The Lee Lab at Stanford University is looking for a research data manager who will mine and analyze large quantities of data from several pre-clinical brain studies. The ideal candidate will be a hybrid of an "IT person" and researcher -- someone with strong computer skills who wants to dabble in research. The ultimate goal of our lab is to understand the connectivity and function of brain circuits, in order to drive innovation of new therapies for neurological diseases.
