Joyo is a free stuff marketplace that allows you to post items that you no longer need, and to discover free items that others are giving away in your area. You can post items for free, chat with people looking for free items, and also chat with people giving away items that you want.

Joyo was created by two Stanford alums and is based in San Francisco, CA. We launched in June of 2021 and have been slowly gaining momentum since then, with a focus on the San Francisco Bay Area community.

We are looking for a part-time campus ambassador to help spread the word about Joyo through social media, student groups, and campus events. Joyo is perfect for students to connect with each other and with members of the surrounding community to exchange goods. Joyo’s focus on free items encourages tidiness, conservation, and waste reduction. We are looking for an intern with the following qualifications:

Interested in a career in marketing for a consumer startups

• Regular user of Instagram, Tik Tok, and Twitter

• Minimum GPA 3.0

• Available for 1-2 hours per day

• Positive attitude

• Ability to pivot strategies when a strategy does not work

This is a flexible internship with a daily 10 minute catch-up each morning Monday - Thursday.
