What You’ll Do
The Government & Community Partnership (GCP) Manager will be a crucial leader in building relationships with the community that serves those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role will build and manage strategic Government and Community Org partnerships across California, ensuring consistent communication with all partners, and tracking any and all policy changes to maintain compliance. The GCP Manager will identify opportunities to partner with new organizations, and to lend support to the community in ways that have the greatest impact. This role is all about policy and partnership, and how NeuroNav can meet the needs of the community it seeks to serve!

We are looking for a candidate who can jump right in and take ownership of partnership development and management. Navigating the environment of a new start-up can be both exciting and challenging; we’re looking for someone who embraces ambiguity, pushes through roadblocks, identifies issues and proactively solves them. This position requires the ability to adapt to ever-changing scenarios, and to identify where opportunities lie for improving service delivery to our partners.

Adept at tracking important data and information related to policy. This role lives and breathes the policy changes that impact our clients. The ideal candidate is ready to own critical OKRs, and work to enhance partnerships relationships while also meeting quarterly goals.
Essential Functions
• Works in conjunction with Senior Leadership to assure a coordinated government & community relations program across the state of California. Represents NeuroNav in the external community via relevant community boards and committees.
• Develops & manages a community relations infrastructure that supports NeuroNav’s vision of strong community partnership. Cultivates collaborative partnerships with Governmental and Community Managers.
• Build and manages partner contracts as a Project Manager by submitting proposals and coordinating deliverables within a cross-functional team
• Oversees collection of quantitative and qualitative project evaluation data. Synthesizes analyses and identifies key findings. Formulates implementation plans and evaluates effectiveness of actions implemented.
• Identifies and clarifies public issues that affect NeurNav. Monitor legislative & municipal agendas to identify and address issues with potential to impact NeuroNav’s services. Ensures high level of knowledge on local governmental process & community climate.
• Provides expert consultation & technical assistance regarding initiatives in the region. Obtains consensus from management to implement an approach or position.

Your Background
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in community and government relations, public policy or communications
• Bachelor's degree in public policy, health care administration or other relevant field or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field
• Knowledge of governmental bodies and community-based organizations that impact the organization
• Expert interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational, analysis and problem solving skills
• Commitment to mission and authenticity

The work schedule for this position is generally Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm (PT) with occasional work on evenings and weekends.
