Hello Stanford Fam,

I'm a current plastic surgery PGY2 and will have 2 rooms available in an idyllic and lush ranch house nestled between Menlo Park and Atherton. Looking for year-long lease starting in June 2022.

I've lived here for the past two years and adored it – my current roomies are sadly moving out of town but had lived here for several years prior to me; it's been in the Stanford med community for a while. The owner of the house has been super responsive, kind, and an all-around phenomenal landlord. Have never had an issue with repairs or rent.

It's about an 8-minute drive/15-min bike ride from Stanford Hospital, and two blocks from Downtown Menlo. Walking distance from Draeger's Market, Trader Joe's, and Peet's. Area is very quiet and the entire house is encircled by foliage, so very peaceful when sleeping through the day on night shift.

Room 1: master bedroom, with shared bathroom (you'll share with me, but I promise I have lots of bath bombs/fancy soap to spare)

Room 2: smaller bedroom, with private bathroom.

Both rooms have hardwood floors, built-in storage, and amply fit a queen size bed with room for desk/dresser. Rent is ~$1600, not including internet/utilities (usually ~$100/month). However, gardening is included in rent. Bathrooms have stone tiling, built-in storage, and combo shower-baths.

Central AC/heating
Garage w/ ample storage (I have a treadmill in there, so can workout any time of day)
HUGE backyard with grill, fruit trees, and vegetable patch (I've yet to plant any veggies though)
Annual garden harvest of lemons, grapes, apples, and thundercloud plums. +Lavender and rosemary for your cooking/charcuterie board needs.

We've had a large dog here for the past year (who will sadly be moving out with my roomie); yard is totally dog-proofed.
