There are 2 rooms available in a rare historic victorian, spacious house in the heart of downtown Palo Alto.

The house is in a perfect location. One block from University Ave and a 5 minute cycle to Stanford, 5 minute cycle to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. It has a garden (3 palm trees, orange tree), a big kitchen, dining room, two social areas and there are office set-ups all throughout the house. We also have off-street carport parking.
The house is completely furnished so no worries about logistics (but you can bring your own stuff you'd like...)

These rooms are available:

1. $1790 (rent) + $160 (utilities): Upstairs, spacious, fits a queen sized bed shared bathroom, upstairs office space
   Move in date end of August

2. $2,165 (rent) + $160 (utilities): Upstairs, huge room with ensuite bathroom, built in closet, separate office space
   Move in date mid August

The utilities are $160 (this includes wifi).
Move-in costs include first month rent, last month rent, and deposit

You would be sharing the house with four other tenants. We are all international working professionals, in our early 30’s at Stanford and in tech. New housemates are chosen by existing housemates after a 15-minute interview, ensuring a warm, compatible environment with good boundaries. We are respectful of each other's space. We all absolutely love living here and hope to find people who love this house as much as we do. We are looking for housemates who are in their late 20s/early-mid 30s, have experience living in a large shared house and enjoy doing their own thing while also contributing to a nice friendly environment.
