Large bedroom available in a modern 2 bed - 1 bath a few blocks away from downtown Palo Alto. [On corner of Hawthorne Ave - Alma Ave]

I am looking to re-sign the lease by the end of July. The second roommate moved to New York, leaving one room open. The apartment is fully furnished (although the bedroom is not)

--- Pros: The apartment is gorgeous: Newly renovated, hardwood floors, brand new appliances, tons of natural light, dishwasher, beautiful bathroom with two sinks. Short walking distance to University Ave (with restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops), and Whole Foods. Short bike/drive to Safeway/Trader Joes.

--- Transparency: The noise from the train is loud, and as a light sleeper, it took me a bit to get used to it

--- Ideal roommate is professional, hard-working, and good fun/spirited.
--- About me: Clean and respectful, often out of the house, social and happy to host, but usually go to events elsewhere in Palo Alto or SF.
