Private furnished room in a 4-bedroom Palo Alto house available SEPT 15

• Must be fully vaccinated and covid conscientious.
• Room measures 10' by 13' plus a walk-in closet and lots of windows.
• Hardwood floors.
• Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood 10 min walk to San Antonio CalTrain station and San Antonio Shopping Center with Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Safeway, Starbucks, 24 Hour Fitness, movie theater, etc.
• On a popular bike route to Palo Alto/Stanford.
• Bathroom is shared with two housemates. Rotating weekly cleaning schedule.
• Bathroom space is clearly allocated for each housemate (separate shelving, towel space, shower bins).
• Laundry is onsite and included.
• Your own dedicated cabinet/fridge/freezer spaces in the kitchen.
• Kitchen includes a dishwasher.
• Driveway and street parking available.
• Carport for bike storage.
• Maintained backyard with mature trees and Meyer lemons.
• Furnished with full bed frame/mattress, new mattress cover, dresser, mirror, desk/chair, night stand/lamp, curtains.

Current housemates are an ex-academic now working as a consultant, a developer working at Stitch Fix, and a shy but friendly cat. Fourth housemate is TBD (second open room).

The vibe of the house is that we are friendly but independent. We chat, sometimes do movie nights together, but don't do regular meals together. It's a quiet, calm, respectful house with the expectation that common areas are kept very tidy and clean. We're looking for someone that is kind and who also appreciates and contributes to clean common areas. Put another way: we all make messes but if you’re not cleaning up well after yourself you are asking the rest of us to deal with it - which is not going to work here. If that sounds kinda harsh and crazy to you then this is likely not the house for you. If that sounds like a relief you could be a fit :)

First and last month's rent + $500 security deposit reserves the room.
Month to month sublease.
Internet and utilities are $80-140/month additional.
