• Bathroom is shared with two housemates. Rotating weekly cleaning schedule.
• Bathroom space is clearly allocated for each housemate (separate shelving, towel space, shower bins).
• Laundry is onsite and included.
• Dedicated cabinets/fridge/freezer spaces in the kitchen.
• Kitchen includes a dishwasher.
• Driveway and street parking available.
• Carport for bike storage.
• Maintained backyard with mature trees and Meyer lemons.
• Bedroom is furnished with queen bed frame/mattress, new mattress cover, dresser, mirror, desk/chair, night stand/lamp, curtains.

Current housemates are an ex-academic now working as a consultant, a post-doc at SLAC; a developer working at Stitch Fix, and a shy but curious cat.

The vibe of the house is that we are friendly but independent. We chat, sometimes do movie nights together, but don't do regular meals or outings together. It's a quiet, calm, respectful house with the expectation that common areas are kept very tidy and clean. We're looking for someone considerate who also appreciates and contributes to clean common areas. Put another way: we all make messes but if you’re not cleaning up well after yourself you are asking the rest of us to deal with it which is not going to work here. If that sounds kinda harsh and crazy to you then this is likely not the house for you. If that sounds like a relief you could be a fit :)

First and last month's rent + $500 security deposit reserves the room.
Month to month sublease.
Internet and utilities are $80-140/month additional.
